On July 22, Ning Xuchu, Deputy Party Secretary of the CPC Committee of Guangxi University, led a group of alumni work teams and representatives of alumni entrepreneurs to visit Zhejiang Hongzun Technology Co., LTD., a subsidiary of Global New Material International (06616.HK). He met with Su Ertian, an alumnus of Guangxi University, President of the EMBA alumni Association of Guangxi University, and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Global New Material International, and had in-depth exchanges on innovation in the new materials industry, university-enterprise cooperation, talent cultivation and alumni work.

Ning Xuchu and his team visited the project exhibition hall, research and development test area and production site of Zhejiang Hongzun Technology successively, and learned in detail about the global industrial layout, core technology research and development, product application of Global New Material International, as well as the construction and operation of the 100,000-ton synthetic mica project in Tonglu, Zhejiang. Zhejiang Hongzun Technology is an important platform for Global New Material International’ international layout of synthetic mica industry, undertaking the research and development and production of high-end synthetic mica and related functional materials. The related products are widely used in industrial coatings, plastics, inks, high-end personal care and beauty products, and continue to expand into emerging application markets such as new energy vehicles, photovoltaics and special functional coatings.

Su Ertian extended a warm welcome to Ning Xuchu and his team, and affectionately reviewed his entrepreneurial and innovative development journey in Guangxi. He said that Guangxi University not only provided him with systematic management education and the strength for continuous growth, but also has long shown concern and support for the enterprise in terms of talent cultivation, technology exchange, industry-university-research cooperation and alumni linkage.
